Model Nicole Trunfio ruffled some feathers with her latest photoshoot for Australian Elle.
The 29-year-old is on the cover of the fashion bible while breastfeeding her 4-month-old son, Zion.
The proud mum shared the image on her Instagram page, writing alongside, “There is nothing more powerful and beautiful than motherhood. The last thing I want to do is be controversial, so if it is please take this for what it is, let us #normalizebreastfeeding there is nothing worse than a mother being tried for feeding her starving child in public.
“I’m so proud of this blanket and what it represents. Obviously I don’t look like this while breastfeeding, but it represents all women whether you are breastfeeding or not, we have given birth, we are women. , we are mothers.

Nicole gave birth in January
The photo of her feeding her baby will not appear on newsstands. Instead, an alternate blanket of her holding her baby while wearing a black dress will be seen on the shelves of newsagents.
Editor-in-chief Justine Cullen said the image was unplanned and only appeared when Nicole’s son went hungry during filming.
She explained to Fairfax Media, “It wasn’t an artificial situation, Zion needed a flow, Nicole gave it to her, and when we saw how beautiful they were, we just moved her over. the tray.”
