Buyers call Fashion Nova ‘abusive’ after model posed with bear in shocking snap to advertise jeans
SHOPPERS have slammed Fashion Nova for using the image of a model dancing with a teddy bear to whip her clothes.
The shopping giant posted a photo of Gallienne Nabila on his Instagram page, holding the baby bear’s paws upright on its hind legs.
The fashion label captioned the image: “Babes & Life-Size Teddy Bears.”
They linked up with two pieces of clothing, the ‘Call Me Baby Girl Body’, £ 15.48 ($ 19.99) and ‘Perfectly Classic Jeans’, £ 30.96 ($ 39.99).
The bear image is also on the website when people search for both items.
Angry shoppers have denounced the clothing company for using the live animal to sell its products.

Fashion Nova and Gallienne’s Instagram, where she originally posted the image tagging the brand, have received negative comments.
Someone said, “Animal abuse, how beautiful.”
Another commented: âThis poor bear should be in the wild. “
A third wrote: “Sad, uneducated fool.”
This person added, âIt sounds dangerous. “
The company does not appear to have an official live animal policy, but its website says, âFashion Nova Cares is the official program focused on charitable giving and advocacy.
âWe support charities that empower women, men and communities around the world, and we are pledging $ 1 million to various organizations this year. “
Fabulous Digital has contacted Fashion Nova for comment.
